Why Blog?

I know what you're thinking. Another study abroad blog? Despite the dearth of originality, I made the decision to blog during my four months abroad mainly to record my experiences for my own benefit and for friends and family members, but also to force myself to reflect on the experience over the course of the semester. Even though the thought of being submerged in a foreign language for half of an academic year sounds pretty terrifying at the start, I'm sure it will turn out to be an incredible experience worth cherishing for a lifetime. Or so they tell me.
